Beech Tree is the heart of Summer@WMA — Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s signature summer experience, a well-rounded day camp where curiosity, creativity and community come together for the last 25 years.

Each day, campers explore, learn and grow through a balance of engaging, hands-on activities designed to inspire confidence, friendship and discovery.
Camp Hours
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m.
Pick-up begins at 3:30 p.m.

Lower Camp: Kindergarten & Grade 1
Middle Camp: Grades 2 & 3
Upper Camp: Grades 4, 5 & 6
Senior Camp: Grades 7 & 8
Note: Grades indicate the grade a child is entering during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Beech Tree Traditional Camp is $800 per two-week session, with the exception of Session 1, which is $400.

LOWER CAMP
Kindergarten & Grade 1

Designed for children entering kindergarten or first grade, this nurturing program offers gentle guidance, joyful discovery, and endless opportunities to play, create and explore.

Small Group Sizes (5:1 ratio): Personalized care ensures every camper feels seen, heard and supported.
Big Fun for Little Campers: Arts and crafts, swimming, music, nature walks and games, all adapted for their age and pace.

Each day at Lower Camp helps children live clean through caring for themselves and nature, work hard as they try new activities, and build confidence that lasts long after summer end.
MIDDLE CAMP
Grades 2 & 3
Beech Tree Middle Camp is designed for rising second and third graders ready to explore new interests and gain independence.
Here, curiosity meets creativity, and campers thrive in a warm, supportive community that encourages them to Live Clean. Work Hard. Play Fair, Speak True.
Explore, Learn and Grow with Confidence
Core Activities
Science and Discovery: Hands-on experiments spark imagination and problem-solving.
Nature Adventures: Explore our 400-acre campus, learning about wildlife and conservation.
Sports and Games: Build skills, teamwork, and resilience in a Play Fair environment.
Arts and Crafts: Create, imagine, and express.
Swim and Specials: Daily swim and themed activities keep each day fresh.
Middle Campers are guided to Speak True through open communication, Work Hard at every challenge, and Live Clean by respecting themselves, others and the environment.
UPPER CAMP
Grades 4, 5 & 6
For rising fourth–to-sixth graders, the Beech Tree Upper Camp blends fun, independence and leadership.
Campers take ownership of their experience, choosing activities, building teamwork and developing confidence that reflects Inspired by Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s Core Values: Live Clean. Work Hard, Play Fair. Speak True.
Challenge Yourself, Lead with Integrity

SENIOR CAMP
Grades 7 & 8
Senior Camp is the capstone of Beech Tree, a transformative experience for rising seventh and eighth graders.
Teens move beyond participation into leadership, embodying Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s Core Values every day: Live Clean. Work Hard, Play Fair. Speak True.
Lead with Heart and Purpose
The Senior Camp Experience
Leadership Training: Plan and lead activities, mentor younger campers and take initiative.
Adventure and Skill Building: Hiking, expeditions, creative arts and advanced sports instruction.
Community and Privilege: Exclusive trips, high ropes course and meaningful service projects.
Senior Campers Speak True as they lead with honesty, Play Fair as role models, Work Hard toward shared goals and Live Clean through respect for themselves and others. It’s the summer where character, confidence and friendship come together.
